Holden has been involved with RocRooms & Rentals the past six years as Vice President of Housing Operations and more recently as the Manager of Leasing and Marketing. During his tenure he has maintained a 99% occupancy rate at all times and to date manages over 130 tenants in just about 40 units.
Through the use of technology, Holden and RocRooms have implemented workflow automation and property management software to increase efficiency and made it possible to have prospects secure housing without ever stepping foot inside a unit, or even the country.
Understand how he keeps an open line of communication with tenants, including his longest tenant of five years, despite never having met in person. Holden will share why tenant satisfaction and retention has increased in this student housing business through systemic cultural changes he implemented, and with much help from other FFREIA members over the years.
He will also speak about how it is more than just a numbers game and why it's important to be actively involved in neighborhood associations other than local landlord coalitions to help maintain positive community relationships.
